At Kings In Unity Inc we are raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the elderly and disabled, veterans and homeless families in our community who need them most. ABOUT
A Bit of Background
I am a retired Navy Veteran of 20 years. I have being involved in helping the Veteran for over 25 years. As a Navy Serviceman I started by opening my home to Service members who could not go home for the holidays and provided a surrogate home for them to enjoy the holidays. I also have worked with many Community Outreach programs for the Elderly and Disabled Veterans. Some of the projects I worked on were, Paint your Heart out, Meals on Wheels, VAW, Shriners and Modern Free Freemasons of the World, Inc.
Here at Kings In Unity Inc, we are Veteran based organization motivated by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our mission is to help give Veterans, senior citizens and other vulnerable members of our community a way to gain their independence again, by providing them a means of supporting themselves, and to give them back their dignity by providing them with a place to live and improve their way of life.
Veterans have sacrificed everything for their country and we want to start to repay them for their unselfish acts. Our youths and senior citizens are our most vulnerable members of society and deserve our respect and help to achieve and maintain independence in our society. We help them obtain this by offering housing services, furniture, food services,, transportation, medical/mental health referrals, follow-up, social services and much more.

While our efforts are driven by our organization’s singular focus of ending homelessness among Veterans, we spread a wide net by investing in a variety of progressive strategies. EDUCATION & OUTREACH
Doing What’s Needed
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them.
Some the services we offer:
resume writing workshops
interview technique
Assistance from recruiters at staffing companies
Assistance with applications and referrals from Department of Labor
We host job fairs
We also help Veterans who need further training maneuver through the VA resources, to receive job training to help them have greater success finding employment.
